Gail Janet Beeker and Randall Alan Dexter exchanged nuptial vows Dec. 3 in Immanuel United Church of Christ. The Rev. Hank Baumgaertal officiated at the rites. A reception was in Morris Bryant Inn. Parents of the bride are Dr. and Mrs. Stephen D. Beeker of Traverse City, Mich., formerly of Lafayette. She graduated from Jefferson High School and received her B.S. degree in special education from Ball State University. She is a member of Council for Exceptional Children. The bridegroom graduated from McCutcheon High School and attended Ball State. He is serving with the Air Force at Hurlburt Field, Fla., with explosive ordnance disposal. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Merle Dexter of 6243 S. County Road 150 W. Julie Ann Beeker of Traverse City attended her sister as maid of honor and best man was Tom Wethington of Jacksonville, Fla. Bridesmaids were Deb Burris of Muncie and Angela Schick and Lynda Stucker, both of Indianapolis. Serving as groomsmen and ushers were Greg Dexter of Brookston and Kevin Dexter, brothers of the bridegroom; William Rice and Bruce Beeker of Traverse City, brother of the bride. The couple is living in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.
