Obituary: Upper Dauphin Sentinel on 24 Apr 2004 in Millersburg, Dauphin, PA. ¹ ELIZABETHVILLE - Margaret Eleanor Chubb, 75, of 317 Creek Hill Road, formerly of Millersburg , died Thursday, April 22 at her residence. Born Feb. 7, 1929 in Malta, she was the daughter of the late John and Katie Snyder Bucher. She was retired from the former Muskin and Johnson and Baille shoe companies in Millersburg. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Millersburg; a member and past president of the Millersburg VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post No. 5507; and a 30-year member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 0326 in Millersburg. She was the widow of Marlin E. Chubb, and also was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Marlin Jury and Charles Shrawder; three brothers, Ray, Clarence and Arthur; and a sister, Irene Hollenbach. Surviving are a son, Edwin E. Jury of Millersburg; a daughter, Linda A. Romberger of Elizabethville; two brothers, Ernest and Mark Bucher, both of Medford, Ore; two sisters, Carrie Schmick of Harrisburg and Mae Margio of Philadelphia; four grandsons; and four great-grandchildren. Services were held April 27 from her church. Burial was in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax. Memorial donations may be made to her church at 324 North Main Street, Millersburg 17061. Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc. in Millersburg was in charge of arrangements.
