Last Will and Testament of Daniel Booher, Dec.

In the name of God Amen, I, Daniel Booher of Shirley Township in the County of Huntingdon and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Yeoman being very sicke and weake in body but of sound mind, memory, and understanding (blessed be God for the same) but considering the uncertaincy of this transitory life do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following to wit-Principally and first of all I commend my immortal soul into the hand of God who gave it and my body to be buried in a christian like manner decently at the discretion of my executors hereinafter named and as to such worldly state wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give and dispose of the same in the following manner. ------- First, it is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease. Then I give and bequeath unto my dear and loving wife Elizabeth Booher all my Estate real and personal of what kind and nature forever the same may before and during her widowhood but if she should marry again then and in that case I hereby give and allow unto her the said Elizabeth one Feather Bed and bedding , one large chest , three milk cows, one black mare now about three years old, one womans saddle and bridle and halter chain, one iron pott, one iron kettle, one spinning wheel, also four head of sheep and two hogs. Then it is my desire that my Executor herein after named shall and do as soon as they conveniently can after my decease make a ven---- and sell the whole of the personal estate except that part particularly mentioned and explained as left to my said wife Elizabeth and the money arising therefrom when collected to gether with all debts now due to me which when collected also to be by my said executors applied toward the purchase of land at their discretion for the use of my children each of whom it is my desire that they shall receive an equal share and share alike. And lastly I nominate , constitute and appoint my said wife and my dear brother Casper Booher to be the executors of this my last will hereby making all other wills , legacies, and bequests by me heretofore made and declaring this and no other to be my last will and testament. In Witness wherof I have hereto set my hand and affixed my seal on the ninth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three~

Signed , sealed , published, pronounced, and declared by the said Testator as his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and at his request have subscribed as witnesses. (Two witnesses, unable to read names. DW) his Daniel J. Booher mark.
