Stiles, 78, formerly of 2419 North Twelfth, Kansas City, Kansas, died yesterday at a hospital at Osawatomie, Kas. He was born in Ohio and moved to Kansas City, Kansas, as a child. He retired 23 years ago as a postal clerk for the Railway Mail service, for which he had worked about 25 years. Mr. Stiles was a member of the Western Highlands Presbyterian church and Kaw Masonic lodge. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Stiles, 7101 Nieman, Shawnee; five daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Arnold, Indianapolis, Ind; Mrs. Marion Cunningham, 7101 Nieman; Mrs. Rowena Anderson, 2304 North Forty-third; Mrs. Ruth Brady, Baytown, Tex., and Mrs. Martha Green, Tulsa; a son, Col. William Stiles, with the Marine corps in Washington; a brother, R. K. Stiles, 916 Ann; a sister, Miss Mabel Stiles, 852 Barnett, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Private graveside services will be a t 1:30 o'clock Saturday at Memorial Park cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas.

William married Ethel M. Sharp. (Ethel M. Sharp was born on 10 Jul 1882 in , , MO,⁵ died on 15 Apr 1971 in Shawnee, Johnson, KS ⁵ and was buried in Kansas City: Memorial Park Cemetery, Wyandotte, KS ⁵.)
