Also with them was uncle Frederic Bucher, 65. Everyone and their parents were born in New York, except Frederic's parents were from Pennsylvania.

2. Census in 1900 in Catlin Twp., Chemung, NY. ⁴ Three Bucher households were living as neighbors in 1900:

Robert Bucher, farmer, 28, born Oct 1871, was married for 5 years to wife Jillian, 27, Dec 1872. She had birthed no children by 1900.

Orville Bucher, farmer, 25, Mar 1875, was married for 4 years to Ruth, 21, Jul 1878. She had birthed one child: Eva, 2, Feb 1898.

The next home is George Ide, widow, 77, Feb 1823.
