Noted events in his life were:
1. Obituary: Democrat Watchman on 19 Jun 1890 in Bellefonte, Centre, PA. 2 Dr. A. G. Walls, of Lockhaven, died suddenly at the Continental Hotel of Saturday evening of fatty degeneration of the heart. He had been complaining for some time, and went to the city on the fourth instant for a much needed rest and consultation with Dr. D. Hayes Agnew, who was one of themost intimate friends. The change had a beneficial effect on the patient, and he was apparently much improved on Saturday evening. He took a sponge bath previous to retiring, and a few minutes later when Judge Mayer, of Lock Haven, who occupied an adjoining room, called on him he was unconcious. A physician was summoned but he expired without recovering consciousness.
Dr. Walls was 52 years old and a son of State Senator and Judge Walls, of Lewisburg, and a brother-in-law of President Judge J. C. Bucher of the twentieth Judicial district. He was a graduate of the naval academy at Annapolis, but during the war served as a surgeon in the Army under Col. Winkoop. He was one of the most prominent physicians in Lock Haven, and had an extensive practice all along the West Branch.
