Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ, with Dianne Grace officiating. Burial will be in Crystal Township Cemetery, Tama County. There will be no visitation. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

She worked at ARC for 15 years, where she taught special education.

She was born on Oct. 1, 1954, daughter of Wesley Merrill and Phyllis Wilma (Ploen) Beecher.

She graduated from Bellevue Community High School. She received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Dubuque.

Surviving are her companion, Larry Roth, and her daughter, Larissa, both of Dubuque; her parents, Wesley Merrill and Phyllis Wilma Beecher, of Dubuque; a brother, Richard (Terry) Beecher, of Amarillo, Texas; a sister, Sharon Beecher, of Atlanta; nieces and nephews; and her extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a Rebecca Linda Beecher Memorial Fund has been established.

Rebecca had a relationship with Lawrence J. Roth. (Lawrence J. Roth was born on 29 Aug 1963 ³.)
