2. Census in 1880 in Jordan Twp., Green, WI. ³ Jacob Bucher, miller, 50, was living with wife Mathilda, 40; Elwood, works at farming, 19; Mary, 17; John, works at farming, 15; Thomas, works at farming, 13; Rosa, 10; and Charles, 3. All children were born in Illinois; Jacob and his parents in Pennsylvania; and Mathilda in Maryland, her father in Vermont, and mother in Pennsylvania.

Elwood married Mary L. Martin, daughter of Nathaniel Martin and Hannah Strader. (Mary L. Martin was born on 12 Aug 1863, died on 1 Sep 1902 in Martintown, Green, WI and was buried in Martintown: Martin Cemetery, Green, WI.)
