Living with them were these children, all single with no children of their own: Douglas, miller, 39, Jun 1860; Annie, 35, Jul, 1864; Stella, 24, Jan 1876; Fred, farm laborer, 21, Jan 1879; and Cora, 18, Apr 1882. John and his mother were born in Ohio, his father in Pennsylvania. Laurinda was born in Indiana, her parents in Kentucky. Douglas was born in Iowa; Annie in Nevada, and the others in California.
