Beecher, 61, Gibson City died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday at Gibson Community Hospital, where he had been a patient two days. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, near Anchor, with the Rev. Alexander Youck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Lamb Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Monday. The body will be taken to the church at noon Tuesday. He was born 6-17-1905, near Anchor, a son of Henry and Margaret Schroeder Beecher. He never married. He leaves two brothers, Ernest, Arrowsmith; and Carl of Madison, Wis.; one sister, Ruby Golleher, Whittier, Ca.; and three nephews. He had been a resident of the Gibson City area for the last 52 years and was a farmer. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. |
