1. Census in 1930 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA. 7 After his mother died in 1925, in the 1930 census we find at St. Joseph's House for Homeless Industrious Boys in Philadelphia: Frederick Belasario, ward, 11. He was born in Pennsylvania and his parents in Italy.

2. Military from 1937 to 1939 in San Francisco, California: Private in 30th Infantry Cavalry at the Presidio in San Francisco, CA.

3. Census in 1940 in Seaside, Monterey, CA. 8 The 1940 census recorded owning a $250 house in Seaside: Maud Waldorf, widow, 57, living with son-in-law Frederick Belisario, street construction laborer, 22, and her daughter Wilma Belisario, post office clerk, 22; and granddaughter Judith Belisario, 4 months old when the census was recorded on April 3, 1940. Also in the home: grandsons Edwin Powell, 15, and Richard Powell, 13.
Maud lived in the same house in 1935. Everyone was born in California except Frederick in Pennsylvania.
In 1935 Maud and Wilma lived in the same house, but Frederick lived in Wayne, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and the Powell boys lived in Fresno, Fresno County, California.

7. Obituary: The Californian: obituary of Fredrick Jan Voltaire on 16 Jan 1993 in Salinas, Monterey, CA. 3 Fredrick Jan Voltaire of Monterey died Friday at his home following a long illness. He was 75.
A native of Wayne, Pa., Mr. Voltaire lived in Monterey for 57 years. He was in the lumber industry for 30 years and was a manager at Hayward Lumber before opening his own lumber store in Marina.
Mr. Voltaire served in the Army from 1937 to 1939 at the Presidio and in the Navy from 1942 to 1945, including in Germany in World War II. He received the Engagement Star for European-African-Middle-East Ribbon.
Mr. Voltaire is survived by his wife, Wilma Voltaire of Monterey; his daughter, Dianne Beecher of Marina; two brothers, John Hartman of Severna Park, Md. and Anthony Belisario of Malvern, Pa.; his grandson, his granddaughter, pride to all of us. two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services with full military honors will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Monterey Peninsula Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in Mission Memorial Park.

Frederick married Wilma Geraldine Waldorf, daughter of Frederick Dillon Waldorf and Maude Eugena Blend. (Wilma Geraldine Waldorf was born on 2 Mar 1918 in Hanford, Kings, CA,1 10 died on 6 Apr 2006 in Monterey, Monterey, CA 1 10 and was buried in Seaside: Mission Memorial Park, Monterey, CA 1 10.)
