Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. Samuel's real estate was valued at $2500. Also in their home was Henry Barnett, 25; Rosanna Miller, 23; Ruben Miller, 16; and Mary's mother, Anna Zimmerman, 60.

2. Census in 1860 in Palmyra, Lebanon, PA. 7 The 1860 census recorded Saml Segner, tailor, 49, living with wife Mary C., 46; Wm, 14; Joseph, 10; Annie E., 9; and Louisa C., 6. Also in the home was Jonathan Poor, junior tailor, 21; and Saml Bricker, junior tailor, 18. Samuel's real estate was valued at $5000 and personal estate $1650. Newspaper: Reading Times: death of Mrs. Samuel Segner, 7 Jan 1892, Reading, Berks, PA. 6 News was received in this city yesterday of the death of Mrs. Samuel Segner, formerly of Palmyra, Lebanon county, but for many years a resident of Saybrook, Illinois, who fell out of her chair on Christmas eve with a stroke of paralysis, and died on the 28th of December. She was buried at Danville, Ill., on the 30th ultimo. Her husband died of paralysis some four months ago. The deceased has quite a large number of relatives and friends in Berks and Lebanon counties, who will regret to hear of her death. Mrs. Segner had been blind for upwards of 30 years. She leaves a large family of grown-up children, nearly all of whom are residents of the West.

D. 1892, and all persons being indebted to said estate are requested to settle the same prior to the 6th day of June, with the undersigned.

Affidavit of the non-residence of Joseph Segner. John M. Segner, William Segner and Edgar Segner. impleaded with George H. Segner and Anna E. Stewart defendant above named, having been filed In the office of the clerk of the County Court of McLean county, notice is hereby given to the said Joseph Segner, John M. Segner, William Segner and Edgar Segner, impleaded, etc., that the said plaintiff, M. M. Stewart, administrator, etc., of the estate of Mary C. Segner, deceased, has filed his petition in the said County Court of McLean county for an order to sell the premises belonging to the estate of said deceased, or so much of it as may be needed to pay the debts of said deceased, and described as follows, to wit: Lot number ninety-six (96), as marked and designated on the original plat of the town (now city) of Hoopeston, situated in the county of Vermilion and state of Illinois, and that a summons has been Issued out of this court against you, returnable at the May term, A. D. 1892, of said court, to be holden on the first Monday of May, A. D. 1892. at the Court house in Bloomington, in McLean county, Illinois.
Now, unless you, the said Joseph Segner, John M Segner, William Segner and Edgar Segner, impleaded, etc., shall personally be and appear before said County Court of McLean county, on the first day of the term thereof, to be holden at Bloomington. in said county, on the
FIRST MONDAY OF JUNE, 1892,
and plead, answer or demur to the said complainant s petition filed therein, the same and the matters and things therein charged and stated will be taken as confessed, and a decree entered against you according to the prayer of said bill. Bloomington, Ill., April 22, 1892.
