Conrad Becher

   Another name for Conrad was Coonrod Becher.¹

  Noted events in his life were:

1. Census in 1850 in Washington Twp., Stark County, OH. ¹ Coonrod Becher [Conrad], farmer, 29, is living with Rebecca, 40; Jacob, 9; Michael, 1; and Mary, 1. Conrad was born in Germany, Rebecca in Maryland, and the children in Ohio. His farm is valued at $1,300.

On the same census page above, we find two other Becher children living in other households, so we assume they are children of Conrad: (1) Jonas Becher, 8, born in Ohio, is living in the household of Jacob Coonrod, 63, and Anna Coonrod, 58, both born in Switzerland. (2) Andrew Becher, 8, born in Ohio, is living in the household of Michael Shonaher, 60, and his wife Barbary, 62, both born in Germany.

Conrad married Rebecca. (Rebecca was born about 1810 in La Plata, Charles, MD, United States ¹.)
