Jacob H. Becher, shoemaker, 42, was living with Elizabeth, 35. Also with them: Levi Ganty, 13. Everyone was born in Ohio. Jacob's home was valued at $600, and personal estate $50. The post office was New Berlin.

At page bottom is Uriah Becher, 54, living in the household headed by Christian C. Kryder, 24, shoemaker. Uriah was born in Pennsylvania, and Christian in Ohio.

Atop the next census page, Elizabeth Becher, 30, is in her own household living by herself.
