Osborne, carpenter, 42, born Mar 1858 in Ohio where his parents were born, living with his children: daughter Jesse, 11, Jul 1889; Maude E., 10, Feb 1890; son Henry W., 8, Feb 1892; and daughter Florence, 3, Sep 1896. The children were born in Kansas and their mother in Michigan.

Newspaper: Arkansas City Daily Traveler: Osborne-Beecher wedding, 3 May 1915, Arkansas City, Cowley, KS. 4 Saturday evening, May 1, at the home of the bride's grandmother, Mrs. Jennie McDevitt, occurred the wedding of Miss Florence J. Osborne and Carl A. Beecher. These young folks are well known in Arkansas City, both having resided here nearly all their lives. The Rev. J. E. Henshaw performed the marriage ceremony. The following relatives of the bride and groom were present: Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Pickering, Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Beecher, Miss Maggie Beecher, P. Beecher, Miss Emma Beecher, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Peek, Mr. and Mrs. Guy Cutchfield and daughter Lena, Mrs. R. H. Robb and son, E. E. Robb, Mrs. Jennie McDevitt. The out of town guests were Mrs. Sarah Ridenour of Hammond, Ind., and aunt of the groom, and Mrs. Lue Hamilton and son, Johnny, of Chilocco, Okla., and aunt and nephew of the bride, and Miss "Billie" Henshaw. After the ceremony refreshments were served to the guests and the presents were displayed. The gifts were many and useful as well as beautiful. At a late hour the guests departed wishing Mr. and Mrs. Beecher a long and happy wedded life. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Beecher of 523 North Third street. He is a fine young man. Miss Osborne has for some months past been employed as stenographer in the office of the Retail Merchants association and she is an accomplished young woman. The Traveler unites with the many friends of the young couple in extendeding congratulations.

Mrs. Beecher is a very capable stenographer and will make good in her new position.
