They had been married 17 years, and she had birthed 7 children, 6 were alive in 1900. Living with them: Joseph, 12, Mar 1888; Annie, 15, Dec 1884; Jennie, 10, Dec 1889; Peter, 8, Jul 1892; Lilly, 5, Mar 1895; and Thomas, 2, Mar 1898. The parents and their parents were born in Italy, and Nelson and Angel immigrated in 1884, having been in the US for 16 years by 1900. Nelson was naturalized. The children were all born in Louisiana.

2. Census in 1920 in San Francisco, San Francisco, CA. ² The 1920 census recorded owning a home at 238 Nevada Street: Angles Naro, widowed, 56, living with son Thomas, chauffer, 21, single; and daughter Mary, telephone operator, 18, single. Angles and her parents were born in Italy. She immigrated in 1886 and became a U.S. citizen in 1897. Thomas and Mary were born in Loiuisiana and their parents in Italy.
