Obviously the census taker wrote the wrong age for Thomas, 6 instead of 66, since Thomas was born in 1874. William and Cora have a daughter, Shirley, age 3. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania. William is a fire man in an iron factory; Thomas is unable to work.

Obituary: Pottsville Republican: obituary of Cora Lloyd on 26 Jan 1972 in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA. ⁹ Mrs. Cora Lloyd of Maple Boulevard, Deer Lake, died Tuesday at Pottsville Hospital where she had been a patient for four days. She was born in Shamokin and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Agnes Hepner Beacher. Her husband William Lloyd died in 1956. She resided at Deer Lake for the past 15 years. She was a member of the Church of God, Harrisburg. Surviving are a daughter Shirley, wife of William Penberth of Deer Lake; a brother Charles Beacher of Detroit, Mich.; a sister Carolyn, wife of Harold Calloway of Pottsville; five grandchildren. Services will be held Friday afternoon at the Morgan Home for Funerals, Pottsville. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park.
