Gibson have issued invitations for the wedding of their daughter, Miss Ora Lee Gibson, to Mr. John Mullen Batten Beecher, at their home, 1523 North Second street, on Wednesday evening, October 18, at 7.30. A reception from 9 to 11 will follow the ceremony. The bride is a popular young lady, a graduate of the High school, also a graduate of the musical department of Perkiomen seminary. The groom is a former resident of Pittsburg and is now draughtsman for the P. R. R. company at this place.

5. Newspaper: Harrisburg Patriot: Beecher-Gibson, 19 Oct 1905, Harrisburg, Dauphin, PA. 8 A pretty home wedding was solemnized last evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Gibson, 1525 North Second street, when their daughter, Miss Ora Lee Gibson was united in marriage to John Mullin Batten Beecher, draughtsman for the Pennsylvania Railroad Cmopany. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Henry Harms, pastor of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The ring service was used.
At 7.30 the bridal party entered the parlor to the strains of the Lohengrin wedding march, played by Miss Elizabeth Orth. The bride attended by Miss Mayme Kelley, of Allentown, as maid of honor; Miss Edith Hemler, of this city, Miss May Carscaden, of Williamsport, as bridesmaids, and Miss Doris Rothert and Miss Anna Schroeder as ribbon girls. Robert S. Beecher, brother of the groom, was best man.
The bride wore a beautiful gown of white net over white silk and carried a large bouquet of bridal roses. Miss Kelley, maid of honor, wore pink crepe de chine; the bridesmaids wore white point D' Esprit over pink silk and the flower girls wore dainty costumes of white mousseline.
The home was handsomely decorated with ferns, palms, pink and white roses and pink and white ribbons being the color scheme. A reception followed the ceremony after which Mr. and Mrs. Beecher left on a two weeks' tour to southern cities. On their return they will reside at 1525 North Second street..
Miss Gibson was a graduate of the local High School and also of the musical department of Perkiomen Seminary. She is a great favorite in social circles and an accomplished musician. The grrom was a former resident of Pittsburg. Guests attended the wedding from Altoon, Williamsport, New York and Chicago.

Serviecs for Mrs. Ora Beecher of 36 S. Munn Ave., East Orange, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Weatherhead Funeral Home, 126 Main St., Orange.
Mrs. Beecher died Sunday at home.
Born in Falling Springs, Pa., she lived in East Orange for 12 years.
She is survived by one grandchild.
