He had been ill for several weeks. Born in Lithuania, he came to this country 50 years ago, first settling in Philadelphia. He later lived in New Philadelphia. He had been a resident of Minersville most of his life. He was a member of St. Francis' Church. His wife, the former Mary Juodis, died 17 years ago. Surviving are these children: John ; Jr. and. Mrs. Anna Tamkunas, both at home; Anthony, Irvington, N. J.; Dorothy, wife of John Beicher, Lebanon; , three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held on Thursday morning from the John Dutcavich Funeral Home, 202 Sunbury St., Minersville. Mass will be in St. Francis Church and interment will be in the parish cemetery.
