Kathy Cristine Kyner and Michael Edward Beecher were united in marriage, April 21. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Kyner Jr., RD1 Shippensburg, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold R. Beecher, Dickinson. The Rev. Ralph Heagy officiated at the ceremony. Debra Reed was the soloist, and William Hemminger III, the organist. The bride was presented in marriage by her father. Lace and net fashioned her fingertip-length veil, and enhanced her gown of ivory double-knit polyester, styled with a square neckline, long sleeves, and four-tiered gathered skirt. She carried a colonial bouquet of white pompons, pink roses, baker's fern, and babies breath. Maid of honor was Cookie Siganoff, Newville, and bridesmaids were Donna Reed, Newville, and Teresa Andrews, Chambersburg. Best man was William Bowman, Newville, and ushers were Randy Kyner, Shippensburg, and Dan Beecher, Dickinson. The reception followed in the church social room. Guest registrar was Jackie Wenger, Shippensburg; gift table attendant was Gregory Andrews, Chambersburg; and hostesses were Mrs. Harold Reed, Mary Crumlich, Patricia and Debra Reed, Newville. The bride and bridegroom were graduated from Big Spring High School, she in 1975 and he in 1973. She is also a 1978 graduate of Shippensburg State College, and is a teacher in Mainsville Elementary School. He is a clerk in Kyner's Hardware, Shippensburg. Mr. and Mrs. Beecher are living at 34 E. King St., Shippensburg.
