George Warner, 503 S. Ashland avenue, today announced the marriage of his daughter, Alvina, to Charles Beecher, son of Chester E. Beecher, 603 S. Oakland avenue. The wedding took place Friday at a 4 o'clock ceremony in the First Christian church in Eaton, Ind. with the Rev. G. H. Holwager performing the ceremony. The bride wore a street length dress of sapphire blue and a small hat with a net veil to match. She carried gold chrysanthemums. Attending the bride was Miss Betty Beecher, Hartford City, Ind., sister of the bridegroom. L. F, Sprague, also of Hartford City, was best man. The wedding dinner was served at the home of Mrs. Edith Beecher after the ceremony and was attended by members of the immediate families. Mr. and Mrs. Beecher will live at 603 4th street, West De Pere.

The former Alvina Warner was born in Green Bay, Feb. 18, 1909, to the late George and Louise (Mazelle) Warner. She married Charles Beecher Nov. 27, 1937. He preceded her in death Nov. 24, 1982. She was a member of the Ladies' Aide Society of St. John Lutheran Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jerrold (Sue) Dickey of De Pere; one son, William Beecher of Madison; six grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Ben (Mae) Waerzeggers of Green Bay, Mrs. Earl (Minnie) Freiburger of Appleton, and Mrs. Norris (Vivian) Lauder and Mrs. Arthur (Ella) Maloney, both' of Green Bay; two brothers, Clayton Warner of Green Bay and Donald Warner, of Connecticut. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers. Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, De Pere, after 10 a.m. Monday. Funeral 11 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Chester Nerenhausen officiating. Entombment in Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. A memorial fund has been established for St. John Lutheran Church. Ryan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
