She was the daughter of the late Donald C. and Geraldine M. (Brenner) Querry. She married Edgar H. Beecher on Jan. 22, 1977, in Altoona. He preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 2012.

She is survived by a son, Donald A. Beecher and fiancee, Nicole T. Lilly, of Altoona; a granddaughter, Delaney A. Beecher; two sisters: Donna J. Muir and Karen M. Glasson (Jim); a brother, Greg D. Querry (Karen); and multiple nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Curtis B. Querry.

Sandra was an avid bowler in leagues at Holiday Bowl and was a member of the Bavarian Aid Society.

She was a graduate of Altoona High School, Class of 1970.

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter, Delaney, and also crocheting and fishing.

Friends will be received from noon until 2 p.m. Monday, May 13, 2013, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Juniata, where a funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Brent Salsgiver, officiating. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.

Sandra married Edgar Howard Beecher, son of Edgar Andrew Beecher Jr. and Mae Madeline Phillips, on 22 Jan 1977 in Altoona, Blair, PA.¹ (Edgar Howard Beecher was born on 25 Mar 1942 in Altoona, Blair, PA,^{4 5} died on 17 Nov 2012 in Altoona, Blair, PA ^{1 4} and was buried in Altoona: Alto-Reste Park Cemetery, Blair, PA ¹.)
