A former resident of Altoona died early Thursday morning in Chicago, Ill.
Mr. Long was a retired locomotive engineer for the Pennsylvania railroad.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alice M. Long; one son and one daughter, Roy D. and Mrs. Irene Burley, both of the city; three sisters and one brother, Mrs. Riley Nearhoof, Mrs. Blanch Weston, Mrs. Bessie Beecher and Otto Long, all of the city.
He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran church for many years and of the B. of L. F.
Friends will be received at the Mauk and Yates funeral home after 6 o'lcock Friday evening.
