23. Obituary: Reading Eagle: obituary of Paul W. Beechert on 10 Feb 1978 in Reading, Berks, Pennsylvania, USA. ¹³ Paul W. Beechert, 91, of 927 Patton Ave., died Thursday morning in the Reading Convalescent Center, West Reading, where he resided 13 months. Born in Berks County, he was a son of the late Cornelius and Sarah (Noll) Beechert. His wife, Alice (Fox) Beechert, died July 22, 1964. Before retiring. Beechert was employed by the Birdsboro Steel Corp. He was a member of St. Mark's United Church of Christ. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Pearl, wife of Edward Sensenig, Mount Penn; a stepson, Henry Mertz. Muhlenberg Park. Also two step grandchildren, five step great-grandchildren, and two step great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Sanders Funeral Home, the Rev. LeRoy C Brumbaugh officiating. Burial will be made in the Shalter's Church Cemetery, Alsace Township.
