1. Census in 1900 in Cumru Twp., Berks, PA. ¹ The 1900 census recorded Cornelius Beecher, farmer, 56, born Jul 1844, living with wife Sarah, 56, Mar 1844; John, 20, Mar 1880; Irwin, 16, Feb 1884; Paul, 14, Feb 1886; and Gertrude, 12, Aug 1888.

2. Cause of Death: tuberculosis of lungs, 18 Jul 1913, Shillington, Berks, PA. ³

3. Newspaper: Reading Times: funeral of Miss Gertrude May Beechert, 22 Jul 1913, Reading, Berks, PA. ⁵ Funeral services over the remains of Miss Gertrude May Beechert were held at the residence of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Beechert, on Miller street, by Rev. W. J. Kershner. After brief services at the house, the cortege proceeded to Immanuel Reformed Church, were further services were held. The reamins were attired in white and reposed in a lavender plush-covered casket with silver handles and plat bearing name and age. The bearers were four brothers: John, Irwin, Charles and Paul Beechert.

Selections were rendered at the house and church by the choir of Immanuel Reformed Church. Interment was made in Fairview Cemetery. Kindt.
