Mrs. Beecher is survived by her husband, Donald Beecher Sr.; four sons, Ernest, James and Joseph, all of Carlisle, and Donald Jr. of Newville; two daughters, Lauri Nailor of Newville and Ellen Carey of Carlisle; 13 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers and sisters.

The Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, is in charge of the arrangements.

Viola married Donald Raymond Beecher Sr., son of John Raymond Beecher and Verna Eldema Moore, on 2 Jul 1954 in Carlisle, Cumberland, PA.¹ (Donald Raymond Beecher Sr. was born on 26 Apr 1936 in Carlisle, Cumberland, PA ^{9 10 11} and died on 27 Feb 2008 in Colebrook, Lebanon, PA ^{2 11}.)
