LAPORTE - Dorothy L. Beecher, 58, of 3296 E. County Road 100 South, died Wednesday in her home of cancer. Survivors include her husband, Gene; a daughter, Tonya J. Beecher of LaPorte; a son, Donald L. Stoner of Kissimmee, Fla.; three sisters, Catherine Dever of Fort Wayne, Rebecca Combs of North Judson and Gladys Rubinzer of Hudson, Fla.; three brothers, Donald Hellem of Hamilton, Ohio, John T. Hellem of Gold Canyon, Ariz., and David Hellem of Monrovia, Calif. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Cutler Funeral Home, where friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday.


Dorothy married Robert Eugene Stoner, son of Ralph Stoner Jr. and Jeanette Jane Keller. (Robert Eugene Stoner was born on 28 Feb 1944 in Muncie, Delaware, IN 7.)
