Isaac Shaner Bucher ¹

1. Obituary: in Feb 1870. Isaac S. Bucher, 89, of Harleysville, died on Saturday, February 21, 1970 in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, where he was a patient one day. He was the husband of the late Annie G; (Ziegler) Bucher.

Born in Woxall, the deceased was the son of the late Jacob K. and Esther (Shaner) Bucher.

Mr. Bucher owned and operated a farm in Harleysville from 1908 until he retired some years ago.

He was a member of Indian Creek Church of the Brethren, Vernfield.

Surviving were two sons: Paul Z. Bucher and Isaac Z. Bucher, both of Harleysville; one daughter, Mrs. Rachel Landes, Souderton; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Herbert S. Bucher, of Robesonia, and one sister, Mrs. Ruth Hess, West Lake Village, CA.

Services were held on Wednesday, February 25, 1970 at Indian Creek Church of the Brethren, Vernfield, PA. Interment adjoining cemetery.

Isaac married Annie G. Ziegler. (Annie G. Ziegler was born on 20 Aug 1883 in , , PA,² died in 1965 ² and was buried in Harleysville: Indian Creek Church of Brethren Cemetery, Montgomery, PA ².)
