Evans, 20; Alfred R., 17; William, 15; Henry W., 13; and Richard G., 11, Lura M., 7, and Joseph L., 2. Everyone was born in Pennsylvania except John and Lura in Ohio and Alfred R. in Delaware. Also in their home was Laban Evans, son in law, 23, born in Maryland, and granddaughter Reida V. Evans, 2 and grandson Alfred J. T. Evans, 0, both born in Delaware. In 1935, the census reports they were living in Burton, Geauga, Ohio.

Census in 1950 in Queen Anne, Queen Anne's, MD. ⁹ The 1950 census recorded Laban Evans, helper in feed mill, 34, living with wife Lillian, 30; daughter Reeda, 11; Alfred, son Leban Jr., 8; Nancy Jane, 6; Jeannetta, 4; and son Richard, 2. Lillian was born in Pennsylvania, Reeda, Alred and Richard in Delaware and Laban Sr., Laban Jr., Nancy and Jeannetta in Maryland.

4. Obituary: Daily Times: obituary of Laban A. Evans on 1 Sep 1980 in Salisbury, Wicomico, MD. ⁷ Laban A. Evans died in Laurel Saturday, the victim of an apparent heart attack. The 65-year-old Salisburian was rushed to Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford after he was stricken and pronounced dead on arrival. Evans was the husband of Lillian Beacher Evans of Davis Street.
A retired ship's carpenter, he had worked for the hatchery division of Perdue Farms Inc. until he was forced to retire for health reasons 14 years ago. He moved to Salisbury in 1957.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters, including Rita Disharoon of Quantico, Jane Goslee of Pittsville, Janetta Ruark of Salisbury, and Jessie Lokey of Delmar, Del.; three sons, Alfred J.T. Evans of Salisbury, Laban Asbury Evans Jr. of Salisbury, and Richard William Evans of Walston, Md. Also surviving are a sister, Ada Dize of Ewell, Md., four nephews, one niece, and 14 grandchildren.
Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hollowav Funeral Home in Salisbury. The Rev. Lou Bradley will officiate.
Interment will be in Spring Hill Memory Gardens in Salisbury.
Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
There will be a special Moose lodge memorial service for Evans Tuesday night at 8 p.m. Evans was a member of Moose Lodge 654 of Salisbury.

Laban married Lillian Alma Beacher, daughter of Alfred Beacher Sr. and Emma Jane Beecroft. (Lillian Alma Beacher was born on 25 Jan 1920 in North Braddock, Allegheny, PA,^{4 11 12 13 14 15} died on 12 Jun 2007 in Salisbury, Wicomico, MD ^{4 13 14 15} and was buried on 16 Jun 2007 in Hebron: Springhill Memory Gardens, Wicomico, MD ^{4 15}.)
