Steve retired from the U.S. Air Force and was employed by Cressy & Everett Realty. He was born January 15, 1953, in Logansport, Indiana, to George and Pasqualene (Lombardi) Beecher. On December 30, 1972, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, South Bend, he married Diane (Martin), who survives along with his father, George; his son, Scott and Erica Beecher of Texas; his daughter, Suzanne and Robert Ruchti; two grandchildren, Aurora and Olivia of Alaska; his two sisters, Dorita and Tom McClannahan of Oregon, Donna and Mark Shafer of Ft. Wayne, IN. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 24, from 4 - 6 p.m. in their home at 50829 Old Dover Lane, Granger. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
