The Misses Beecher Marry

The daughters of the Rev. and Mrs. David Roderick Beecher of Richmond were married in a double-ring ceremony yesterday at 7:30 p.m. in Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Miss Marcella Mae beecher of Mount Morris, Mich., was married to Edwin Lawrence Shaw of Greenville, S. C., son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Shaw of Caldwell, Idaho.

Miss Ruth Jean Beecher of Richmond was married to David Emaunel Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Gregory Williams of Tucson, Ariz.

Mr. Beecher officiated.

Given in marriage by her grandfather, Calvin Beecher of Erie, Pa., Miss Marcella Beecher word a gown of peau de sole and Alencon lace. Her veil fell from a coronet of seed pearls, and she carried a Bible with an orchid.

Miss Elaine Andrews of Mount Morris, Mich., was maid of honor. Miss Judith Shaw of Caldwell, Idaho, was the other attendant.

John Cassidy of Greenville was best man. Ushers were David Hocking and Donald Morgan, both of Greenville.

Miss Ruth Beecher was given in marriage by her brother, David Victor Calvin Beecher of Richmond. She wore a gown of peau de sole and Alencon lace. Her veil fell from a crown of lace and seed pearls and she carried a Bible from an orchid.

Miss Bertie Rigdon of Raleigh, N. C. was maid of honor. The other attendant was Miss Lura Dean Proctor of Richmond.

Mr. Williams was his son's best man. Ushers were Edward Romine of Springfield, Mo., and Skipp Butler of Richmond.
