-----
Showing that Catarrh of a Bronchial Nature May Extend Very Quickly to Consumption.
The extension of catarrh to the lungs in this climate, causing hemorrhages, night sweats, cough, loss of flesh and strength and all the evidences of incipient consumption, is not always a matter of many years. Miss Stella Beecher, of Boggs avenue, Mt. Washington, is a very young lady, as well as a very beautiful one. She had suffered only a few years from a nasal catarrh, when the symptoms of severe bronchial trouble made their appearance.

"I first noticed that my trouble was becoming serious," she says, "by the cough at night. If I went out in the evening, as soon as I got home and went to bed, I would commence to cough. I began to have night sweats and raised blood. These was a feeling of tightness across my chest -- suffocating spells -- my breath was difficult. It would come with a wheezing sound. The coughing spells grew worse, and I would cough till I was faint and dizzy. They told me I was going into consumption. My parents took me to Dr. Copeland. Under his care the trouble entirely disappeared. I am perfectly well."
