James Rush officiating. Services in Logansport will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, with the Rev. John E. Weeks officiating. Burial will follow.

Mr. Drompp died Monday at his residence. Born Sept. 8,1922, in Logansport, he was the son of Daniel and Martha Fry Drompp. He was married to Jenimae B. Beecher, who survives.

Mr. Drompp was an automotive engineer. He served in the Army Air Corps.

He was a member of Little River United Methodist Church, a 48-year member of the Elks Lodge No. 66, Masonic Lodge, American Legion, and a member of the Boy Scouts of America for more than 50 years.

Also surviving are one son, Michael, Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters, Patricia Foerg, West Lafayette, and Jennie Anne Hatcher, Muncie; one stepson, Jere Hunter, Itasca, III.; one sister, Mary Lou Stevens, Cherokee Village, Ark.; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call one hour before the services at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Little River United Methodist Church "Building Fund," P.O. Box 160, Little River, S.C. 29566.

John married Jenimae Beecher, daughter of Lyman Edgar Beecher and Sylvia Della See. (Jenimae Beecher was born on 22 Mar 1923 in South Bend, St. Joseph, IN,^{1 6 7 8} died on 28 Feb 1997 in Conway, Horry, SC ^{1 8} and was buried on 7 Mar 1997 in Logansport: Ever Rest Memorial Park, Cass, IN ^{1 8}.)
