S. Veterans Hospital at Tuscaloosa. Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Tommie Van Dyke; two sons, George Van Dyke Jr., and Henry Van Dyke, all of Birmingham; a brother, Tom Van Dyke, Gastonia. N. C.; his mother, Mrs. N. C. Van Dyke, Hickory, N. C.. and a sister, Mrs. P. H. Barger, of Hickory. Funeral services from Dillon's Southside Chapel 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery, Dillon directing.
