1. Obituary: York Daily Record: obituary of Mrs. John E. Gable on 22 Mar 1976 in York, York, PA. 2 Mrs. Celestia K. Gable, 75, wife of John E. Gable, 606 Bergman St., died Saturday at Barley Convalescent Home East. She was a retired employee of Feders Dry Cleaning Co.
Mrs. Gable was born in Virginia, a daughter of the late William and Martha Turner Angel. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
Surviving also are a brother, James Angel, Lorton, Va., and two sisters, Mrs. Avvie Kirby, Stony Mountain, Va., and Mrs. Thelma Beard, Lynchburg, Va.
The Rev. C. R. Ness, retired United Methodist minister, will officiate at the funeral Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Baumeister & Orcutt Colonial Mortuary, S. Queen and E. Jackson St. Burial will be in Mount Rose Cemetery.
