Mary, wife of Daniel Blew, aged 49 years, died of heart trouble at her residence, 222 Washington street, Friday evening, at 9 o'clock. She had been ill one year, and bedfast one week. Last November Mrs. Blew contract influenza, and it is believed that this was one of the causes of her death as she had never been the same since.
Mrs. Blew was born in Mahanoy City, and was a resident of Reading two years. She was the daughter of the late Washington and Anneta Becker, and a member of St. Paul's Evangelical church. Besides her husband and one son, William, she is survived by the following brothers: Charles and Amandus, Reading; James and George, Mahanoy City, and William, of Buffalo.


Mary married Daniel Nathan Blew, son of Edward Blew and Lydia Garber. (Daniel Nathan Blew was born in May 1873 in Centralia, Columbia, PA,5 died on 3 Mar 1934 in Reading, Berks, PA 2 6 and was buried on 7 Mar 1934 in Wyomissing: Kissingers Cemetery, Berks, PA 2.)
