2. Obituary: Pottstown Mercury: obituary of Mary E. Wanger on 13 Nov 1975 in Pottstown, Montgomery, PA. 4 Mrs. Mary E. Wanger, 88, widow of John Wanger, 20 1st Ave., Lower Pottsgrove, died yesterday morning on arrival at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.
Born in Lower Pottsgrove, Mrs. Wanger was a daughter of Adam and Rosa (Schneider) Saylor. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and of the church's women's group.
She is survived by two sons, George F., 145 1st Ave. and John A., 36 1st Ave. and two daughters, Pauline, wife of Dr.; Philip Rettew, Reading, and Louise, wife of Donal Fegley, Cleveland, Ohio.
She is also survived by one brother and two sisters, Elmer Saylor, 71 N. Roland Ave., Susan, wife of Frederick Emery, Spring City, and Mrs. Martha Ludwick, Coventry East Apts., North Coventry Township.
Mrs. Wanger has seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Schumacher and Reber Funeral Home, 355 King St. Officiating will be the Rev. Edward S. Horn, pastor of St. James Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
A viewing will be Friday, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
