5. Obituary: Gettysburg Times: Huber Pittenturf Dies At Hospital on 21 May 1962 in Gettysburg, Adams, PA. 3 Huber C. Pittenturf, 65, 24 W. Middle St., died this morning at the Warner Hospital where he had been a patient for several weeks.
A native of Gettysburg, he was born October 31, 1896, a son of Frank P. and Mary (Becher) Pittenturf. He had been employed as a tailor here and more recently had been employed as a general utility man at several college fraternities.
Surviiving are his wife, the former Virgie Study, Littlestown; a son, Reid C. PIttenturf, Littlestown; eight grandchildren and these brothers and sisters, Harry Pittenturf, a twin brother, Marietta; Edward Pittenturf, Gettysburg R. D.; Mrs. Nelllie McMurray, Coral Cables, Fla., and Mrs. Georgia Brady, Gettysburg.
Funeral arrangements are being made through the Peters Funeral Home, Carlisle St., and are incomplete.
