Born in York County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Sipling Freet. She was the wife of the late Roy A. Pittenturf, who died in 1959. She was a member of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, McSherrystown.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. William Hippensteel, 401 Terra Ave, Hanover; one brother, Joseph Freet, York St., Hanover; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning meeting at the Hicks Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. to go to Annunciation for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Rev. Hugh J. Mclaughlin will be celebrant. Interment in a local cemetery.

Mary married Roy Abgate Pittenturf, son of Frank Powers Pittenturf and Mary Ann Beecher.
