Beecher, photographer, 46, living with wife Isabella W., 31; daughters Emma M., 18; Philomena, 6; and Mabel, 5. Also in the home is servant Tillie Wright, 18, black. A. Miss Charlotte May, daughter of Major and Mrs. C. W. Smith, was last evening married to Robert Morris Treadwell, at the Edgehill Church, Spuyten Duyvil, N. Y., by the Rev. Alexander Allison, jr., of Wilmington, Del., assisted by the Rev. David Baines-Grifflths of Spuyten Duyvil. <snip> Among the guests, besides the parents of the bride and the bridegroom, were the bride's grandfather, A. P. Beecher of Wilmington, Del., and his two daughters, the Misses Philomena and Mabel, aunts of the bride.

8. Obituary: in 1913 in Wilmington, New Castle, DE. Abram P. Beecher, a resident of Wilmington, for nearly fifty years, died suddenly Tuesday, August 3.
The deceased was born in Litchfiled county, Conn., January 10th, 1834, and was one of the old family of that name, being related to the late Rev. Henry Ward Beecher. When quite young he went to Buenos Ayres, S. A., remaining a few years and then going to New York, from where he went to Philadelphia, and was one of the pioneers in the photographing business, having originated the schema of photographing both sides of the green back currency. He was in the photographing business also, in Wilmington until his retirement in 1911. He was a life member of Eastern Star Lodge, A. F. of A. M., of Philadelphia, and also, of many organizations in Wilmington, having at one time been a City Coucnilman.
He is survived by three daughters, Emma May, wife of Major Clarence W. Smith, of New York; Philomena, wife of Rev. J. Field, of Wilmington; Mabel, wife of Rev. William H. Briggs, of Zion, Md., also one granddaughter, daughter of Mrs. Smith, Charlotte May, wife of Robert M. Treadwell, of Arlington, N.J.
