Troxel, 74, retired farmer of Stevens, Lancaster County, died Wednesday morning at the home of his son, Normal Troxel. He leaves a son, two daughters, Mrs. James Doyle, living in the state of Washington, and Mrs. Peter Phelan, Lancaster; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Dr. E. R. Miller, Ephrata, deputy coroner, was called in the case, as Mr. Troxel had been found dead in bed. He decided death was due to an attack of apoplexy.
Private services will be held 1.30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the house and public services at 2 o'clock in the Reformed church, Lincoln. Burial in adjoining cemetery. Funeral director Mellinger, Denver, has charge.
