Life-long Resident of County Dies - Funeral to Be Tuesday.

Edward Zurbrugg, 64, farmer, and life-long resident of the county, died at 4:45 o'clock yesterday afternoon at his home in Clifty. He had been ill for some time and his condition became worse last Tuesday, since which time he had been confined to his bed.

The body is at the Flanigan, Reed and Hull funeral home where the casket will be open this evening and until Tuesday afternoon. Services will be held at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home and at 2 o'clock at the Clifty Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. P.G. Nau will have charge and burial will be made n the church cemetery.

Mr. Zurbrugg was born on a farm near St. Louis Crossing as live there for many years. In 1901 he was married to miss Mary Beeker, who died in 1926. He moved to the present home, the old Zurbrugg homestead, nine years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran church and was well known.

Surviving is a nephew, Charles Beeker, whom Mr. and Mrs. Zurbrugg reared since he was 7 weeks old; a brother, Godfrey Zurbrugg, and a sister, Mrs. William Nolting, both of Clifty.

Edward married Mary Beeker, daughter of Frederick Beeker and Natalie "Dolly" Schaefer, on 20 Mar 1901 in , Bartholomew, IN.
