FLORENCE BEEKER -- Relatives here have received word of the death of Mrs. Florence M. Beeker, 81, a former resident of West Lafayette. Mrs. Beeker died at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Deaconness Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she had lived since 1961. She had been a patient in the hospital a week. Born in London, Ontario, Canada, she was married to William E. Beeker, who died in 1942. She had farmed in the Montmorenci area at Rt. 9, West Lafayette, from 1937 to 1961. She was a member of the Lafayette Central Presbyterian Church and Circle Three of the church. There are no immediate survivors. Florence married William Earl Beeker, son of Joseph Freemont Beeker and Martha I. McKinney, on 18 Dec 1920 in , Lake, IN.1 (William Earl Beeker was born on 29 Jul 1880 in Otterbein, Benton, IN,11 12 13 14 died on 13 Apr 1946 in Des Moines, Polk, IA 4 12 15 and was buried on 17 Apr 1946 in Montmorenci: Montmorenci Cemetery, Tippecanoe, IN 12.) Florence next married A. J. Bleiler.2 The marriage ended in divorce on 10 Oct 1918. |
