Eberle, farmer, 43, born Feb 1857, living with wife Christina R., 38, Nov 1862; daughter Tillie, 20, Sep 1880; and son George, 17, Nov 1883. Christina, her parents and John's parents were born in Germany. John, Tillie, and George were born in Indiana.

2. He appeared in the household of Tillie M. Eberle in a census in 1910 in Frederick, Tillman, OK. 7 7 The 1910 census recorded owning a home on 15th Street: John G. Eberle, 53, living with wife Rosa C., 48; daughter Mary M. Beaker, widowed, 28; and granddaughter Mary E. Beaker, 4. Everyone was born in Indiana except Rosa, her parents, and John's parents in Germany. Rosa immigrated in 1879.

3. John appeared in the household of Tillie M. Eberle in a census in 1920 in Frederick, Tillman, OK. 8 8 The 1920 census recorded at 103 S. 14th Street: John C. Ebberly, 62, living with wife Rosa C., 58; daughter Telle A. Beeker, sales lady in dry good strore, widowed, 38; and granddaughter Mary Beeker, 14. Everyone was born in Indiana except Rosa in Germany. Rosa immigrated in 1880 and became a U.S. citizen in 1890. John's parents were from Germany.

4. Obituary: Frederick Press: obituary of John G. Eberle on 19 Feb 1932 in Frederick, Tillman, OK. 4 John G. Eberle, 75, retired Frederick farmer, died at his home on 101 North Thirteenth street at 12:45 a. m. Wednesday. Mr. Eberle was the subject of a heart stroke two weeks ago, and took pneumonia as well. It is believed he left his bed too soon, as he went down town for a hair cut and the mail about a week ago, became suddenly very weak, and had to return home and go to his bed. John G. Eberle was born February 6, 1857, at Montmorenci, Indiana. He was married there in 1879 to Christina Rose Fulmer, who bore him two children, and in 1907 the Eberle family removed to Oklahoma, living on a farm near Frederick. Eberle farmed for 25 years when he retired and built his residence in Frederick. Mrs. Eberle died November 13, 1929. Mrs. Tillie Beeker, his daughter, and Miss Mary Beeker, a granddaughter, lived with Eberle. He is aIso survived by a son, George Eberle, residing west of this city, and Clara Eberle and Mrs. J. V. Rose, daughters of his son. Two great-grand children, Stella Mae and Robert Rose, are Eberle's descendants. Four sisters and a brother live in Indiana, but in response to a phone call placed Wednesday morning said they would be unable to attend the funeral services. Funeral rites were held at 2:30 p. m. Thursday from the Methodist church, with Rev. J. Frank Graham, pastor, in charge. Following were the pall bearers: W. S. Drumm, C. F. Smith, L. A. Bryant, W. E. Routzahan, W. L. Hutchenson, Elmo Barker and Geo. Brown. Honorary pall bearers: W. J. Parton. Dr. V. Gist, W. H. Hussey, F. M. Baxter. W. P. Conley and G. A. Duncan.

John G. Eberle, former resident of the Montmorenci vicinity, died recently at his home in Frederick, Okla., at the age of 75 years. His old home was about 10 miles west of Lafayette on state road 2C, but he and his family moved to Oklahoma In 1907 where he engaged in the development of city and farm property, becoming one of the city's leading citizens. A heart ailment caused death and the funeral was conducted from the First Methodist church In Frederick a few days ago. His wife died in Frederick in November, 1929. His survivors are a son, George, and a daughter, Mrs. Tillie Beeker; one brother, George W. Eberle, of Pine Village; and three sisters: Mrs. Christina Hildenbrand of Green Hill; Mrs. Mary Dietrich, Rural Route 9; end Mrs. Carrie Werner, state road 53. There are three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.


John married Rosa Christina Vollmer on 22 Jan 1880 in , Tippecanoe, IN.1 (Rosa Christina Vollmer was born in Nov 1862 in , , , DEU, died in Nov 1929 in Frederick, Tillman, OK 5 9 and was buried in Frederick: Frederick Memorial Cemetery, Tillman, OK 9.)
