At a poolside patio party, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert P. FitzGerald of Redondo Beach, Cal. announced the engagement of their daughter Carol to James P. Beecher, son of Mr. and Mrs. William E. Beecher of Clairto'n Boulevard. Miss FitzGerald has been employed as a dental assistant for the past three years and is a graduate of El Camino Junior College. Mr. Beecher, a graduate of Ohio State University, has attended the University of Wisconsin, and is presently completing the, requirements for a Masters degree in Business Administration at Ohio State. A September wedding is planned.
