Census in 1880 in Lower Heidelberg Twp., Berks, PA. 3 The 1880 census recorded in Lower Heidelberg Township south of turnpike: Benjamin Weitzel, retired farmer, 72, living with wife Elizabeth, 67. They and their parents were born in Pennsylvania. Sarah married Harrison Weitzel, son of Benjamin Weitzel and Elizabeth Bicher.
