1. Obituary: The Aegis on 3 Mar 2004 in Bel Air, Harford, MD. ^{1 2} Ruth Ella Adams of Edgewood died Feb. 26 at Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Belcamp. She was 90. Born in Franklin County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Martin and Harriet Lela Prater Brimm and wife of the late Paul A. Adams.
Mrs. Adams is survived by a son, Paul J. Adams of Delta, Pa.; a daughter, Nancy E. Hawkins of Edgewood; grandchildren, Sandra Woodward of Havre de Grace, Chris Dill of Bel Air, Paul T. Adams of Bel Air and Melissa Hopkins of Belcamp; and great-grandchildren, Bradley Woodward of Havre de Grace, Andrew Woodward of Havre de Grace, Joshua Dill of Bel Air and Charles Hopkins of Belcamp.
Services were held Feb. 28 at McComas Funeral Home in Abingdon with the Rev. Dennis R. Keen officiating.
Interment was at Harford Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen. Pallbearers were Bradley Woodward, Andrew Woodward, James Woodward, Robert Hafer, Randy Schaeffer and Dan McMeeken.

Ruth married Paul A. Adams, son of James Calvin Adams and Martha "Mattie" Bell Walton. (Paul A. Adams was born on 15 Aug 1907 in , Ashe, NC,^{3 4} died on 14 Jun 1991 in Havre de Grace, Harford, MD ^{4 5 6} and was buried on 17 Jun 1991 in Aberdeen, Harford, MD, United States ⁴.)
