1. Newspaper: The Sentinel, 26 Jun 1969, Winston-Salem, Forsyth, NC. ¹ Pfc. Dennie S. Perry, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh B. Perry, and wife Ann live on Sparta Rt. 1, has been graudated from the 2nd Infantry Division's Advanced Combat Training Academy in Korea. Perry is a rifleman in Co. C. 2nd Battalion, 31st Infantry of the 2nd Infrantry Division. He entered the Army in May, 1969, and was stationed at Ft. Polk, La., before going overseas.

Hugh married Virginia Lee Stamper. (Virginia Lee Stamper was born on 27 Jul 1926 in Silver Creek, Pottawattamie, Iowa, USA and died on 3 Jul 2014 in Sparta, Alleghany, NC.)
