1. Obituary: Pottsville Republican on 4 Nov 1966 in Pottsville, Schuylkill, PA. ² John B. Dembroski, 46, of 359 S. Nice St., Frackville, died on Thursday evening in his home, after a lengthy illness. He had been hospitalized intermittently during that time.
Mr. Dembroski, born in Mahanoy City, was a son of the late Enoch and Mary Brylewski Dembroski. His mother died on Feb. 14. His father died in 1962.
A veteran of World War II, he had served overseas and participated in the Battle of the Bulge. Employed as a pipefitter at the Alcoa plant in Cressona, he was a member of St. Ann's Church at Frackville, and the Amvets Post 229 at Arnot's Addition, Saint Clair. He was also a member of St. Cecelia's Choir, the Holy Name Society and Knights of Columbus James A. Hogan Council 2580 of Frackville.
Surviving are his wife, the former Theresa Micun; one son and four daughters: John, Janice, Kathleen and Maryanne, all at home; and Carol of Washington, D.C.; three brothers: Peter Adam and Steven, all of Frackville; these sisters: Mary, wife of Jack K. King of Neptune, N.J.. Josephine, wife of John Jacobic of Encino, Calif., and Elizabeth Dembroski of Colts Neck, N.J. Funeral Monday morning from Edward J. Burke Funeral Home, Frackville. St. Ann's Church. • Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Frackville.

John married Theresa Elizabeth Micun, daughter of Emil Felix Micun and Julia A. Brach. (Theresa Elizabeth Micun was born on 15 Jan 1923 in Morea, Schuylkill, PA,^{4 5} died on 20 Oct 1996 in Miami, Miami-Dade, FL ^{1 4 5} and was buried on 24 Oct 1996 in Frackville, Schuylkill, PA ^{4 5 6}.)
