1. Obituary: York Daily Record on 20 Oct 2004 in York, York, PA. ¹ Norman R. Kloker, 77, of Manchester Heights, died at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, October 13, 2004, at Colonial Manor, York.
He was the husband of Johanna K. (Roth) Kloker to whom he was married for 57 years. Following cremation, a Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, Inc., 1551 Kenneth Road, York, with military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Fr. John Mooka.
Mr. Kloker was born September 1, 1927, in Libertytown, Md. He was the son of the late Leo and Clara (Quickle) Kloker. He was a heavy equipment operator retiring in 1994 after many years of service with Operating Engineers and Kinard Trucking. He was a member of Local Union 542. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War il.
Mr. Kloker is also survived by three daughters, Barbara Shue of Maryland, Sandra Tyson of York, and Karen Childs and her husband Robert of York; three grandchildren, Chad Shue, Brandon Shue, and Heather Childs; one brother, Donald Kloker of York; and one sister, Jane Reilly of York.
